I am out of ideas for my tank. I have a 5x2x3 foot tank. It is stocked with 2 endlis, 2 laps, 1 ornate bichir, 1 lima shovel nose, 1 marbled sailfin cat, 1 sturio cat and 7 silver dollars. The bottom of the tank looks GREAT with all the cats and bichirs. The top of the tank looks... bare.
I thought about picking up a shoal of red hook silver dollars to fill the void, but to be perfectly honest they don't really thrill me. I need ideas.
What I DON'T want:
1) Any fish that is not legal in CA (pirhanas, asian arrows, true gars, etc)
2) Any fish that cannot live it's life comfortably in my tank (yes, I know the marbled cat can get to 3' long, but I bought it online as a leiarius pictus, not longibarbus).
3) Any fish that requires live food (I prefer to feed frozen and pellets)
4) Cichlids, bottom fish and/or fish that like to hide.
