I have a 150 gallon tank and have never been happy with the look of it what can I do to make it look professional?

My preference is for a natural look I keep SA and CA cichlids. I collect driftwood, river rocks and use pool filter sand.what kind of fish do you keep?

I'm really bad at "decorating"....I grew up on drilling rigs, I drive a truck, this is not my thing. BUT..it's easy. Get some things to work with--I bought a bunch a "river stones" from a stone place in my area. All they sell is rocks--who woulda thought? I bought 3 pieces of driftwood when I knew I'd only need 1 or 2. And I put it all in front of the tank, took the lids off, and just "made something cool". Start from the left side and move to the right. Try to think of the width of the tank as 3 (or 2 or 5 whatever you're into) sections to be scraped independently of each other. Do all this while your tank still has little fish that you don't care too much about. When you're done and you look at it for a few weeks and think you've got something, order some rugged plants to put in it, too. Anywhere, even if they die--have something green in there. It'll be awesome--you're gonna love it.

Its all personal taste but I have yet to see a tank that didnt look good with manzanita in it. Gotta give credit to manzman in the vendor section for this piece
