Hi I am goin g to use my 90g to grow out a red parrot, king kong parrot, FH parrot, two oscars, green terror, and red high fin wolf fish. Right now they are all about 3 to 4.5 inches long. Should I put in gravel/sand and decor for hidding spots? My fear is that if I have decor in the tank they might become territorial. What are peoples experiences? Thanks

Actually the Decor will create places to hide or create diversions in which the fish chasing will be distracted. It will create territorial boundaries but at least the fish wont be chased around until they die. Just change up the decor arrangements often and no one will have territory to protect. Although that creates the problem of competition of new territory. Anyway you do this theres going to be fighting or chasing. IMO I would add some decor such as big peices of DW with big cavities in it so there for all fish have territory.

In tanks like that I like to use tall plastic plants as a 'maze curtian' to allow the less agressive fish a place to hide from the tank bully.

quiet true. i also find, that it's much easier to deal with fish haveing territoy's when the footprint of the tank is large enough ofr all the fish to be comfortable in the area, and not have overlapping terriroty's, but with a 90 gal, which i'll assume is a (48 inch length)?- really doesn't give enough space for all those large fish to have seperate terriroty's.
