Hi all I have a bare tank at moment no substrate no ornaments etc as want floor space for my rays and easy cleaning.

But I have been thinking about removing my flower horn and dats and adding some discus. If I did this I would want to give them some where to sleep/hide without the rays munching them.

I have been thinking about drilling drift wood adding strong suction cups and sticking it to back of tank on the side and possibly additional anubis or something.

This way it will add some decor and not take up floor space.

Just wondering if any one has done this?

Or have any other suggestions on how to do it?

Thanks

I think I'd shoot for something more reliable than suction cups. I've had many suction cups lose grip over time.

I have seen it done by zip tying wood etc from the brace bars of the tank.
I wouldn't use suction cups, they don't last long, especially with rays
