Deep fried turkeys

Is anyone going to deep fry thier turkeys this year? This will be the first year that we are going to do it. I've heard how good they were for years and finally gonna find out for myself.

the best, not doing it this yr, get an injector blend your spices with lemon juice and inject into turkey than fry, dang i just made myself hungry

My pops has been deep frying them for the past few years. It is awesome, and way faster, too.

My buddies girlfriend's family ONLY eats their turkey deep fried.
They have this whole contraption made for frying turkeys over an open fire.
I had it one time... very very very good. So moist! Also takes much less time to prepare.

They are awesome and like oscarluvr said you should inject with seasoning even if you bake them. Soooooo much better. I inject with butter and seasoning to moisten the meat more.

Lol it is already fried in oil.. how much more moist can the turkey get if you add more butter? I can see the spices adding flavour though.. Making me hungry.
