Hi folks,
I have been offered a 5 inch ebjd for a very good price but when I got an image from the seller I saw that it had an almost beaklike jaw. Is this normal for them or should I steer clear of it? He is otherwise healthy and is being sold because the guy is breeding them and is being chased by the breeding pair. Heres a pic, sry for quality...

ebjd's are just messed up fish

they normaly dont live very long

I think he looks pretty cool with the flattened head. Not the biggest fan of the five heads. (bigger foreheads)

he is deformed from them being so inbred this happens sometimes with ebjd, it shouldnt effect his health any especially if the guy has raised him to that size he should continue to do well he will just look weird once ebjd reach this size they are pretty much out of the woods in terms of being sickly

Its not deformed, its special!!!!

some say the beak face is a deformity and most EBJD's breeders really detest this physical trait. I personally like it. Maybe its just from my experience, but as they mature and grow, the beak face goes away. I noticed this in my BG's only though.

i wouldn't get a fish like that with the deformity, should've just been culled by the breeder.

If its a giant at 5" looks like it.. then its not a bad looking fish. I've seen worst EBJDs...

I dunno if people should breed bad gene EBJDs... cuz its really not worth it.. but ya.. its acceptable in my book.. and if the price is right.. i'll get it...
