I thought i post this up for anyone that wants to show off their deformed FH's.

I currently have one that has a LONG beak, i call it the Duck FH series.

Since i bred it i thought i would keep it for my own reference :)

deformed faced FHs are praised in asia i for got what they call them? but they are the scaryest fish you evar seen.

Excuse me? they are hybrids not deformed....
They are pretty deformed depends on what strains. Massive KOK, short-bodied and parrot beaks (Kilin parrots)...

Kok is not a deformation, It's found in many pure species, mostly Amphilophus. Short body, bonsai, parrot beak, missing fins, etc are deformations. Both Pure species and hybrids can get these deformities. But I've only seen the parrot beak in hybrids. The deformities come from many generations of inbreeding(besides parrot beak which is a result of hybridization). I think a common misconception with deformed fish is that many people think deformed fish = suffering fish, Which is not necessarily true.

They are commonly called elephant god flowerhorn, and yes, they are very scarey. It's just so wrong, there is a limit...at some point fh/hybrid breeders need to seriously question themselves as to what they are breeding for. I breed fish for health/soundness first, looks second, if all hybrid fish breeders thought that way some types of fh wouldn't even exsist.
