It seems like the more people are captive breeding the more batman rays are appearing. Could this become something as common as say dropeye in captive silver arowana?

I am no expert, but, in the wild, survival of the fittest would eliminate most born with deformities. It would seem to me that a batman ray may have a tough time competing for live food in the wild. People don't cull enough when rearing spawns of fish, no matter what type.
