I went to Del Rio, Texas yesterday and my daughters and I caught several Mexican Tetras for my 110. They will probably end up Gar food pretty quick. Anyway, while we were netting, along with all the plecos, three cory cats and tetras, we also caught what I think was a Firemouth Cichlid. It didn't live long in my 5 year old daughters net as she kept dropping it on the ground, by the time she got it in the bucket, it was covered in dirt and missing scales. It survived long enough for me to get a good look at its colors. I didn't have my camera but I thought I'd see if anyone here has ever heard of Firemouth Cichlids in that area. It could possibly be a single release as it was only about 4 inches long.
