Delhezi and senagal - substrate?

I'm setting up a 65g(120cm*45cm*45cm),I have white sand in there and i also have brown/red gravel in a corner of the tank.Would the white sand have any effect on the polys colours?Is the gravel harmful,would i have to take it out?

Yes they will look washed out especially the Senegal.

Yes they will look washed out especially the Senegal.

Thanks.Always had them on barebottom ,since they got an upgrade wanted to try out substrate i'll switch it out for a darker sand.
