Delhezi Girth

Hi Guys,

If stock count in the aquarium is OK
But the girth of my delhezi is increasing , is that normal. He or she is getting far just behind where gills end.

Also its not a result from feeding big pieces of fish ot shrimps.

Just curious.

They can get some sIze for sure. If the fish is acting normal then wouldn't worry just yet. Like T said post a pic.

How often do you feed? Do you watch the entire duration of feeding time? With a tank of bichirs a couple tend to emerge as big eaters no matter the amount of tank mates. So if you are feeding the entire tank and maybe walking away for a few minutes or just don't watch the tank feed the delhezi could very possibly be your tanks big eater. As everyone has said post some pics. If everything is fine you should just have a fat and happy del.
