Delhezi got a white eye

My delhezi recently developed a white patch around it's left eye. I was worried so Im asking for advice. Is that a bacteria/fungal infection?

He still eat well and swim well. Here is a photo of his white eye, anybody can identify what is causing it?

Another problem is with my senegal. When he was upfront, I noticed there are miniture holes in his head. Could it be Hole in head? need advice. I can't take a pic of my senegal as he is camera-shy.

is his eye cloudy??? if thats what you mean by white then just do a good water change... that fixed mine

and all my bichirs have little holes on the top of there head... i wanna say they use it to breathe when they go to the surface... i could be wrong

No poly should have holes in its head. Maybe u think the black markings on the top of senegals head are holes but they are not. Could be u just need to do more frequent water changes with the cloudy eye. Be careful tho I thought that was the problem with my lap but it turned to be something else and he lose that eye within 24 hrs of me seeing it cloudy, I think what happen to my lap is very very rare tho and could be he hit something or my flowerhorn did it but none of my others have lost an eye to it, so i am thinking he hit something.

Post a pic of the holes. Funny thing i just looked at my del and one of his eyes is cloudy. I just did a water change and keep my water clean hmmm guess I will do another and add some salt and see what happens

if you just did a water change then you will have to wait a few days for it to clear up... lol

what are your water parameters? I would jsut do more frequent large volume water changes to start.
