Delhezi jumped out of tank while i was sleeping!

I picked up 2 baby delhezi's yesturday and they're in a grow out 20 gallon for now and one jumped out last night...luckily i heard him and shined the flash light and there he was wiggling in the floor!

lids are good
 
you need a very tight lid and all holes{even the smallest should be taped} your lucky you heard him... he is too.

yes it does not happen often but when it does most are not so lucky...okay so just tape where the hole is,.. because you have a curious one there... :D
 
it's always a given that when keeping bichirs, tanks should always be sealed tightly!

You think so? I thought they were alittle blah..The one with more black was the jumper...So happy i heard him bounce off lid!
 
Thats crazy. The one place I cant tighten up on my lids is where my ac110 is... ill have to see what I can do thanks for sharing STI888
