uhhmm.. i just got a delhezi about 1 week ago. he is about 7-8" and he barely eats. but what concerns me is that he seems obsessed with his reflection. he hides in his cave and just swims against the glass. he keeps pushing against it with his head. (he doesnt ram it, he just pushes) is this normal?

Yeah that about normal. I've had mine for about 2 years and they still rub the glass from time to time. As far as eating, they can be tempermental when moved.
That isn't his reflection. They are looking straight through the glass, just like you are. There is only a reflection when it is another piece of glass at an angle.
Mine just started eating last night and I got him 8 days ago, don't worry about it he'll eat, I recommend silversides
