ok, so i have two large angle fish in a 30 gallon tank, but i want them to be noticed more, so i was curious if i could put him with my:

parachromis sp. la ceiba yellow heads
various gymnogeophagus
datnoids
an oscar
and a few catfish

the tank is a 125 gallon and im just curious if the angels would be safe in the bigger tank. if they would be fine, would there streamers be fine? they have stunning streamers and i would like to be as cautious with those in mind as possible.

Seems a little rough and tumble. Do the parachromis or Oscars ever fight or is it a really mellow tank? I have kept an angelfish with an Oscar without any problems, but with the other big cichlids, I don't know. Honestly, nobody can accurately predict how well a fish will be accepted. It is a good idea, usually, to rearrange the decorations and create different territories just before adding the new fish so that everybody has lost what they would be defending.

ok, the biggest angel is bigger then the oscar and parachromis right now, and things are very mellow, i have one gymnogeny that rules the tank, but she only attacks if they get to close to her.

the oscar is very fluid and calm, never attacked a thing except the occasional feeder, and the parachromis are curious, but not super aggressive.

ok so im crazy enough to try it, i have them in the 125 and so far so good, the oscar checked out the little one with a big scary kiss, but they have calmed down since, i just fed them after introduction to relieve aggression and it is working, also turned out the lights to relieve stress. i will try and feed the angels tomorrow, and so far so good, but its only been so long!

Like I always say, you never know until you give it a try. ;)
I've kept an Angel with an Oscar before as well, no problems.
Good luck!

im more worried about the parachromis as they grow to be honest, they have shown aggression, but as of right now it isn't worrying. like i said, we'll see!
