i have had 16 demasoni all diff sizes for about 2 months now and have only had one spawn, i hear alot of people say they breed most the time after a water change and when left alone for a few days.

Do yall think if i did a water change and left the lights off for a few days and feed them with the lights offthey would breed? My tank gets walked by alot bc its right by the main hall way.
Lmk what u think

Just be patient maybe the females aren't big enough or ready to spawn or maybe the water or feeding isn't to their liking. Sometimes a water change triggers a spawn but it isn't the only variable.

Good Luck :)

When I used to own a colony, they would spawn every 2 weeks after I strip the females. I do water changes every other week. Nothing special to help them spawn just let nature do its job.

patience is the best thing for breeding, just make sure they are fed well & the conditions are good including water & hiding places & i am sure they will give you more fry than you can handle in the coming months.

Nope i dont buffer with anytying im about to get a ph tester n some crushed coral from a local breeder

They try breeding all the time i think the females just dont want 2 or something the males are always chaseing females
