So I had two successful spawns out of my two little demasoni. In total I have 11 fry after losing 3. It was much tougher stripping these little guys compared to my larger Red Zebra. The problem I am facing now though is the females are not really taking to eating. The will take in 2mm nls pellets, but then quickly spit them out. Do you guys have any suggestions or do you think the stress from being stripped will do them in. I haven't had much luck keeping demasoni, but my male dem is going very strong.

Some of my females have done this too, did they swim funny when u released it back into the tank? Try to be gentle stripping females as you can really hurt them, but dems are quite tough and i wouldnt worry about it.

One died while the other kept trying to eat the small nls pellets and appears to have recovered just fine. I learned my lesson not to strip the smaller Demasoni. I do have 10 Demasoni fry growing in my grow out tank so the outcome is not that bad.

In addition to that, rubbing extra garlic (just a bit) on the NLS makes fish chow on them like they've got the munchies. (even though NLS have a bit in them already)
