Hi, i have a 55g tank setup its setup up as a show/demasoni breeder tank. But ive been having some big hunks taken out of some of there tails and fins. It started mostly when i added a ruby red i dont ever see him bitn the or even messing with them. A friend of mine said the fish other than dems in the tank cause the dems to be very aggressive.
My stock list atm is
6x yellows
1x gombie girlfriends fish
1x ruby red male 3 1/2"
16x diff sized dems well 2 are in diff tank one is a holding female and one is a small one with bittn tail probs. I just noticed today that i had a new female holding. What do yall think is causing the aggression. They seem fine today. Think they all get agressive when one is trying to breed and the others mess it up?

I've always had mine with some other fish in the tank. Never kept them in their own tank. They beat the hell out of each other. Other than having a lot of them and lots of hiding spots, not sure that there's a way to get around the aggression.
