can i put any kind of school w/ a dempsey? ive watched my female destroy every effortof mine so far. 12 oddessa barbs, and 2 diff sets of 10 buenos aires tetras. i dontwant silver dollars or tinfoils or giant danios. is there just no hope?

I think it just depends on the personality of your JD. Have you try cichlids yet? I know they require different water and all, but my small cichlids live fine with the 2 JDs i have in my tank.
If you have a JD that is very aggressive then I probably would not add anything unless it is much bigger. The JD is not going to change and become a christian
