OH...IO
Is this a dentex or something different? Ordered as melanopterus but clearly isn't.

Not a clear pic but should look more like this at that size.IMG_0446.JPG IMG_0449.JPG

I like the look of this guy even though it's not what I was after. I'm a dorado fan and he reminds me of a mini dorado. I just hope he's not too destructive haha

I tried one. Lived up to the rep.

I hope you can end up landing what you're after. I remember an old vendor on here I've seen on Aquabid that had them regularly, just can't seem to remember the name. Thought I remember him having a gold gar right before leaving mfk.

Snookn21 maybe? Did you try him in your 750? Was hoping in a large tank they might be manageable.

Its a dentex, I had one for about 2-3 months. They're literally like a mini dorado lol. And they don't like anything thats silvery...

Here is the pic of the guy I had, he was around 8". I had to sell him cause he was tormenting all my silver dollars and flagtail. I was about to get a 8" VATF and I wasn't going to risk having this guy in the same tank as the VATF, so I sold him off... But really cool fix to have cause they're constantly swimming around!

Yup! Snookn was the guy!

He was in the 750, but I think all I had in there at the time was Odoe and he pestered the crap out of them. Luckily or unluckily however you want to look at it, the rays off'd him pretty quick.

Was a long time ago, he came with a Marble pair, Henleo, and Pearl along with some other stuff when LJ (Kolossus) went on hiatus.

I have one, fortunately, not quite destructive. He's in the tank with mahseer and sd. He had a bad eye when I got him. Perhaps, that's the reason he's a bit cooperative
