ok heres what ive got: 20g long with under heater, heat lamp, sand, rocks and hideouts, and humidity box.

so heres my question, what other desert dwelling lizards could live their entire life in a 20g long, (<EXCEPT:grinno: FOR:grinno: LEOPARD:grinno:GECKOS>) i am just looking at what are the other possablities. :headbang2

NOTE: i have had i guanas and grass lizards in the past so i am no begginer to lizards so bring them on!!!!!

Wow man...

So I am guessing you will be looking at other species of desert-dwelling geckos like the African Fat-tailed, Viper and Dwarf Sand geckos.

Not sure if there's anything that will really fit outside of geckos. Maybe some of the smaller iguanids like zebratails, uta, or earless lizards. Definitely not enough room for something like a collared or leopard...not sure if any of the spiny lizards would work, possible but they're pretty active so maybe not enough room.

Not sure about the "armadillo" lizards, but not sure on their availability (shame, great lizard) or if it would be big enough.

Like Bloody said look into the small, ground dwelling geckos mentioned. 20 gallon long really isn't that big for most species of active desert lizards.

Forgot about 'dillo lizards, that could work.

A pity we can't get sungazers anymore, now there's one impressive lizard.

Sungazers, (aka Girdle-tailed Lizards) are a really cool desert lizard that give birth to live young. I didn't know that we can't get them here anymore. Oh well.

Would their be any agama's suitable? Maybe more rocky than desert but... some very nice species.
