hey guys
i remodeled my bearded dragon tank
and it looks really good
but i was wondering if theyre was some kind of plant that could go in with the beardie safely
and stay alive
i was thinking those little cacti that petco always sells
i pay no attention to them normally but would those work
most of em at petco are all dead looin though....
any ideahs???

Cacti can be dangerous because of the spines:grinno:. Insted try some Kalakoe or Crassula. They are spine less suculents and both are quite hardy ,cheap and nontoxic. My turts eat them all the time. Put the names I give you on google and serch. Make chure the beardy doesant have acess to the pots dirt and dont water to much so you dont increse humity. Also make chure any plant you put in hasnt been sprayed whit pesticides and fertilaisers. That been said you can be assured any plant you buy can be potencialy dangerous. Its more safe to ask for cutings to family menbers or friends. Or buy a plant and leave it outdoors for a year. They shouldnt be hard to find:D

You could try Jade Plant. I have them growing in my leopard gecko tanks and they are doing great. The only thing is I don't know how safe they are if they get eaten by a beardie. Research it first.
