I decided to order my aquarium heaters at desertcoralaquatics.com simply because of the fact that they are based in Las Vegas Nevada, which is the closest place I could find to where I live. Well, its been almost 2 weeks now and I have yet to 1) receive my goods- its a 6 hour drive from Vegas to where I live in Utah and it has taken them two weeks so far...? 2) even so much as hear from them-most companies will send you an email when they receive your order, nothing here... 3) be able to contact them- the phone number they list is no good and the so called 'Live Support' is 'OFF-LINE' every single day. I tried to email them as well, only to get an error when I tried to send the email (after I typed up this big long email of course...). I had to finally resort to typing up another email, printing it out, then faxing it to the fax number listed on their website which seemed to be the only thing actually functioning with that company. Then I had to find somebody associated with the company on E-bay and email them my concerns, hoping that this person will pass the message on to the people that matter. Pathetic. My order shows with a status of 'Processing', which is described on the website as something to the effect of 'your payment may not have cleared or it is still being processed'. My payment went through the day I ordered it (6/26) according to my bank statement, and yet my order is still 'processing'? BS. Needless to say, I am trying desperately to cancel my order as I no longer feel good about giving money to a company who I can't even contact and who doesn't contact me back when I am finally able to write them messages and send faxes. If you have run across this website in your travels, I would highly recommend not ordering from them, as you would be lucky to get your merchandise and if you have any problems at all (like not receiving your merchandise...), good luck contacting them. Just thought I'd spread the word!!

Just an update on my situation.... Never received merchandise. It seems desertcoralaquatics.com is completely fraudulent. Its been 3 weeks now since I ordered my merchandise and I have yet to be able to contact them. I have since filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and I am in the process of trying to get the amount charged back to my account through my bank. Beware of these hacks and don't give them your money!!
sorry to hear that. thats why i usually use my AMEX card when buying things online or dealing with companies for the first time. if anythign goes wrong, i can file a dispute and have the charges reversed with a few clicks of the mouse! hope you get everythign resolved
