so i've got a small 4 inch jack dempsey and i'm not sure how much of what to feed it. could someone design a diet for it? here's the stuff that i have:

tilapia filet (cut to really small cubes)
frozen tubifex
freeze dried crickets (originally for my lizard)
freeze dried blood worms
API bottom feeder pellets (jack dempsey can't swallow yet)
New Life Spectrum large fish formula (jack dempsey can't swallow yet)
live mealworms

please help! i don't want to give her too much or too little of the needed nutrients :)

Go buy the smaller size nls and feed her mostly that and occasionally throw in some blood worms or whatever else may tickle your fancy but feeding mostly nls is what you want. Or equivilent pellet. I switched my cichlids to almost exclusivly nls with the occasional blood worms and the growth increase was amazing also there color really came out. I feed one large portion a day but I believe say 3 smaller portions is the better way if you have the time.
