Okay, here is the deal.
A friend of mine was taking 2 drunk friends home last Friday night, and was the designated driver. As soon as he got up to speed, he turned to put his seat belt on, (I know, you are supposed to have it on beforehand, but that isn't how all this went down,) and the drunk guy in the passenger seat decided that he was going to be "funny", and reached over and yanked on the steering wheel.

So...

They swerved off of the road...

And then they hit this culvert....

And then they went flying, and my buddy didn't have his seat belt on all the way yet....

And then, PRESTO !!!, smashed truck. :irked:

My friend put the truck in park, :grinno: , took the keys out, and called 911.
It took the Blue Mound police and cable workers 2.5 hours to get the power lines off of the truck.

Everyone is home from the hospital, and the idiot that grabbed the steering wheel has a new truck to buy.

He also is liable for injuries. Hope he has good liability insurance.

Ahhhh....it can be repaired. LOL

What did the law have to say?

They were glad that he passed the field sobriety test with flying colors, but they were not to fond of the drunken behavior from "The Idiot", and I believe they have already visited him in the hospital.

I'll have to ask my friend what is going on with that. I don't really know.
I just saw him today for the first time.
He is so pissed.
