Desperate search for goose left with crossbow embedded in its back

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i doubt if it could last long like this...

Wow, crazy stuff. People are capable of the weirdest things. Why do they keep saying it has a crossbow in it's back? I believe the "arrow" from a crossbow is called a bolt. I keep picturing a goose with a crossbow.

<---Wondering if the goose is a good shot? ha ha?

Blah, sorry, I know it's not a laughing matter. Sad really.

Crazy. When I used to work at Six Flags, we would get visited by these geese every year. Since they're protected, we would tell people not to touch them, especially the babies. One time I told this group not to grab the babies or touch the geese...they told me I can't tell them what to do and the parent geese pecked one of them right in the forehead. He was bleeding pretty bad and tried not to laugh. The group tried to blame me because "I wasn't taking the appropriate actions" and they said they were going to sue...never heard from them or their lawyers or the company.

Since when were Canadian geese protected? I have friends that kill dozens if not hundreds a year.

You cant fish any local pond in the spring and summer with out having to worry about slipping on their poo!!

That's what they told us. They might've been protected at one point, but I asked around the park and that's what they told me. But I do see them a bit around the city I used to live at.
