Destin Florida fishing.

I'm heading down to Destin this saturday for the week. My question is how is the fishing right now? What have you guys been catching? I am referring to saltwater. Thanks.

The pompano are starting to show up. Find a good wash and use live peeled shrimp or sandfleas. The sheepshead are also starting to gather in good numbers and can be found around any hard structure. I live about 20 minutes west of Destin but currently out of town, I would have been more than willing to show you some spots.

I am just fishing from a pier on the bay. What should I expect to catch? reds, specks, flounder? How about surf fishing? Thanks
