Can anyone give their facts and opinions on how to determine if a silver arowana is male or female? THX...

usually, the only way is to make 6 of them live together...they will pair off so u know the pairs consist of males and females...once u find a breeding pair, the males are the ones who carry their eggs in their mouths...therefore the other arow has to be a female.
it really is hard to sex an arowana bro.. except for asians where there are calculations which may determine their sex.. the only surefire way is to wait for them to breed.. never had an arowana breed before so i couldn't answer that one.. lol
u need a freaking huge pond or a HUGE tank and ladyluck on ure side! ive seen it happen in a 10 feet by 4 feet tank!
