Determining the type of RBP

I'm not sure what kind of Red Belly's I have? What are the different types and how do you tell them apart?

Mine are pretty much white bellied with more of a fiery red around the gills and gill fins, the under fins towards the anus are also a fiery red orangy colour.

Are they complete pussies and scared of everything that moves? Are they obnoxiously skittish when you walk by the tank? if so then you definately got piranhas! jk (but not really) anyways, sounds like young natts.

Yepp, it sounds like young RB´s. When they are a little bit older they wil develope the red belly.

i have nine of them.. they are skittish pussys. but when they are hungry and realize that it is food they want they attack hard..good luck with your piranha's and hopefully you bought a few of the because they are fun to watch in numbers..my cousin had only 1 for a year and when he seen mine he wanted to get rid of his and buy a dozen of them..
