if they are the ones in ur avatar than yes they are pygo natteri.....if they have a black humeral spot behind their gills than they are pygo caribe.....if you got them from a LFS they are prolly pygo natteri....they are the most common piranhas in LFS

Well said ff , two main types at mo may b more soon , they are both pygocentrus- nattereri, criba which has a black humeral spot , allthough alot of other ps have red bellies example serrasalmus spilopleura have red throats and bellies none are referred to as 'the red-belly'
