detroit area-black bullhead?

anyone know a good spot to do some collecting? when do they spawn around here?

Black bullhead start to spawn when the water temps get around 60 ish. Last weekend I found several black bullhead sitting on beds in a pond by me. We had a very mild winter this year so water temps are up. I usually find them in weeds along the shoreline. as soon as they hatch you can easily scoop up hundreds with a small net.
