My tank has been running l for a week what is on top of my water of the tank that's floating. Please help!!!!

I agree especially if trying new or a lot of foods. The fuval clean? Purigen might also help capture those compounds.
Cleaned the whole filter and added new media. I added this seed bacteria once every day for 7 days. This all of a sudden came up today. Hopefully the fish will be ok. Don't want him to die.
Just bet that gunk out, it's probably no biggie. I would add purigen and carbon and of course make ammonia is 0
