I've been trying to figure out what is wrong with my fish, my four yellow perch have been showing the same symptoms for about a month now.
Symptoms - Heavy breathing- occasionaly glancing off objects- alot of yawning- lethargic- white stringy poop and white with round bits (possibly from internal parasites???) slight blue tint occasionally (not sure if its natural or not) - (every once in awhile has red underneath his eye.

I'm completely lost with idea's now i've researched and researched but the symptoms are just so broad.
My tank is a 55gallon column, i have a fluval305 and a aquaclear 70 for filteration and it has 2 small peices of driftwood with plants, couple snails.
i do a 30% water change twice a week and i use stresscoat and stresszyme as directed. i test with a liquid kit ph: 6.5 ammonia: 0 Nitrate: 0 nitrite: 10. hardness is good. Am i doing something wrong???? what should i try treating them with? any suggestions on a diagnosis???
i will try getting pictures of the poop and the fish shortly

i have them fed on a meal worm and freeze dried shrimp diet, with an occasional feeder minnow...... No one has had any of these symptoms????

i have neither of those products where i live, (there is only 2 petlands and 1 petsmart here) neither have it. I'm doing a 7 day melaflix, and if there is no improvement im going to try some seachem polyguard. i have no idea whats wrong i just suspect its internal because of the poop

melafix will do nothing for internal parasites other than waste your money. Look around for products with metro...different companies include it in anti-parasite meds.
