I was at a Fish Store and the owner had a few FH's for sale. They were labeled as Blue Diamond Flowerhorns.

The least expensive of the lot was $450.
The most expensive was $800. -and it wasnt more than 7" with an unimpressive kok and not very much color.

Are these prices normal?!?!!? Holy crap.

FHs named as diamond blue doesn't exist. It's the "fancy" name that your LFS made up for marketing purposes. It would be the best to take some pics for us to see, so we can classify what type of FH it is, and whether it's worth the price tag for ya =)

oh, its not for me. I just was wondering. I do have a picture, but not sure how it will work for you since i had to sneak it with a camera phone. The owner got all wierd on me and saw me trying to take a picture. he waved his hand in the air and was like "NO PICSHA NO PICSHA"
So i took one anyways. I'll post it soon

That's nuts. I have a LFS by me that has 2 FH that were around $800 each.
They were way overpriced. You probably couldnt get more than 150 for them on here.
But you know some Rich mofo with lots of money and no knowledge about Hybrids will scoop one up.

I didnt realize the picture was only of the front of the fish. So if you could tell what kind of FH it is, you are a wizard. :D

Otherwise, i guess we'll never know. But i seriously doubt it was anything worth $800.
I mean, looking at it. It had no trailers on its fins. The color was not briliant at all. Pretty bland actually. Not many spangles and no reds that i noticed. Just mainly grey and light blue's.

I just was amazed at his asking price. Thats what i wanted a picture of mostly. The price. lol
