diamond gobies

got a pair of these a few days ago and havent been able to find much on them except for that they reach about 6-8 inches and that theyre aggressive to others of the species unless its a mated pair (according to liveaquaria anyways). anyone able to educate me?

They're carnivores. They sift through sand for edible stuff. They really like worms like blackworms, but frozen mysis also works. They need a pretty hefty tank (I believe 40-55 gallons for 1-2 fish). Were there any specific questions you had?

cool. theyre in a 50gal rn. that should be good right? whats their growth rate like and do they really reach 6"+? also thanks for the reply

I don't know much about their growth rate, but I'm fairly positive it's a constant one? They kinda just...grow? Until they reach their destined size.

As for really reaching 6"+, I'm not sure. You could try reef2reef, they're a fair amount more active than this forum.
