Diamond in the rough

I want to know which fish you have is your "diamond in the rough". Basically have you found a fish at a lfs that you did not expect and has surprised you with beauty? I found this festivum in a tank full of centrals getting shredded. I took it home and it is eating like a pig and quickly becoming a gem.

This guy surprised me a lot, I bought him at a petsmart for 6 bucks at 1" about six years ago, hes sterile but hes a whopping 15" now and lives solo. You never know what your going to get
