Hey folks,
I have a couple new small shortbody FH's that are extremely timid. I was thinking of adding Diamond Tetras of a descent size to the tank to see if they could coax them out. I can't get them to eat. It looks like I have an empty 55 all the time. And I am worried about the male especially...his little head is shrinking, so I know he is hungry.

I have tried low lights, no lights at all, covering the tank front when I feed, etc. The female will snag a bite here and there if it floats near her hiding place, but the male is just stubborn.

I have used Diamonds with some other cichlids and they are pretty tough as well as just plain pretty. A small school coaxed out my marble convicts and now they are buddies.

What do you folks think? I haven't been in Flowerhorns that long, so I'm looking for advice. Thx! :)
