OK, I just got my new Fish/Aquaria room underway and for the moment I got a meager 30Gal (29g) to tide me over until my 135 get here..hehe ANYWAY I have both a Vortex D1 and my personal all time favorite Diatom filter-the Whisper Diatomagic filter. I chose to use the diatomagic for obvious reasons (size) and found that the impeller broke loose from the magnet! AND they don't make them anymore. so I 2-part epoxyd them back together and seems to work fine again but I'd like to know if anyone knows if another brand/type of impeller can be used in this filter? I see a few online that look similar but I just thought I'd ask to see if anyone else has this filter and had to get parts. Thank you very much.
