diatom filter

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
a UV filter? If you have freshwater, no. Won't make a difference. I don't know about saltwater.

I used to use one to polish water in my tanks moved it from tank to tank daily in my fishroom I liked it worked great.Cleaning the bag was gross but better than buying new media all the time

I like mine. absolutely recommend. Sparkling water in no time.

i was gonna get the magnum cause it has the diatom media but that is still up in the air

i have a one hardly use it anymore bit of a pain to load and clean found the uv sterlizers work the best for clear water just keep mine around for quick power cleans like after moving plants around or clearing the tank of meds and such

:iagree:

You just said it all Fishnutham,
Good for quick power cleans. That's the only thing I ever use mine for.
They can turn really filthy water into crystal clear water in no time. I've had one around since they came out in the 70's.

Need an emoticon of father time so I'll use this one for myself instead:rip
