Hey guys so what is your opinion on these? I have a 75g tank that the water keeps turning green. I assume its an algae bloom, but I cannot get it to go away. I was thinking about getting a diatom filter to fix the problem, but I have 0 experience with them. Should I look into them, if so what would you recommend for this size of a tank?

I own a diatom filter. Haven't used it in quite a while. Will make your aquarium water crystal clear. As to size, it doesn't really matter. The smaller filter will just take longer to clear up the water. Here is a video on how to add the diatom powder.

I actually just ordered one! haha figured I would rather try that first because of the difference in cost. Thanks for the suggestion!

Diatoms are old school, with media and filters these days there just not a big cause to use them any more, They are strictly water polishers, and not a bio filter or something you leave running.
