Diatom powder question

anyone ever use Leslie's pool supplies Diatomaceous Earth in there Vortex? is it fish safe?,I don't want to risk killing my fish, any help would be appreciated.

It's all the same. In fact they don't make it anymore. Sort of.

...It's fossilized diatoms. They stopped making it several million years ago. Just don't ask me who "they" is.

It's also the same thing as DE powder.

I use the Vortex OEM stuff. Because I heard the pool supply stuff has chlorine in it ?!

Nope, you have to pay extra if you want chlorine put in it. Joking, they won't mix chemicals even if you want them to.

well id rather pay 15 bucks for 25 pounds of it over 1 pound to 5 pounds for the same price of the oem, i know its the same stuff , just dont know if theres anything different in the pool stuff(like when processed and packaged).
