Has anyone tried to use one of these filters in a indoor pond? Was wondering if this could be used after a cartridge filter.

you would need to backwash it way too much...

they are more meant for pollishing the water... for what your looking at mfrish stick with the sand bio filters...

I was under the same impression as Nic, use it as a secondary filrter to polish the water.

He does want to use it for polishing.

It's ok if your cartridge is fine (low micron count) enough & you don't excede the flow rate/pressure. You'll know once you've installed it (it may need to be cleaned daily or weekly).

Thanks Joe.... reading things clearly or completely was never a strong trait of mine.
