Remember my last thread about "ID this fish?" 3 days ago.. I did a little experiment with them (Glyptothorax laosensis), and found out that they can tolerate cold water as cold as 65F and hot water as hot as 86F.. (2 fishes (one in a box with my rock bass, and the other one in my shark tank))

They (Glyptothorax laosensis) still havent eat anything yet, I tried cuttlefish, shrimp, lettuce, bloodworms, brine shrimp, they havent touch the food (even at 73F) Gonna try feeder guppies soon (their eye so small just like a dragon goby, I wonder if they sit and wait for the prey or stalk them)

How fast did you adjust the temperature? If it was too fast maybe it stressed them?

30mins - 40mins adjust time..

I can say the temperature range is HUGE.. (64F to 86F) The cold water (64F) one has been living for the last 30 hours, no sign of dying. The hot water (86F) one, its been three days, no sign of dying and no sign of weakness either

They are very hardy fish when dealing with the temperature difference.

I still havent seen them eat yet, but I saw a decrease amount of blood worms (so I assume they ate (this is in the cold water tub))

The 2 in the hot water (havent really move much, sticking to the glass 24/7) only move when my kribensis nibble on their fins...

They have very smooth soft body (scaleless), they dont move much, they can stick to the glass like pleco and they have barbs like catfish (very interesting) maybe this is the cold water version of pleco ^^

first you shouldn't drop the temp that fast second just because a fish can handle a certain temperature doesn't mean they will thrive in it they both should be kept at 73-78F be prapared for ich on the cat in cold water 64 is too cold the hot water one won't due we'll also 86 is to hot move the temp slowly to were it should be and you fish will most likely start eating again
