I recorded the show and just watched it. They captured on film wild knife fish including a monster black ghost. Also pike cichlids, huge plecos, awesome armored cats that I have never heard of before, shovelnose cats, and some type of severum-resembling cichlid I can't identify. The show first aired 2 years ago. It is very cool to be reminded of where so many of our monsters come from. Forgive me if someone has already posted something about this show. Consider this a bump.

There have been other posts about it in the past, but it always comes up again as being an awesome show. It is so different to see all these fish in their natural habitat. Very beautiful.

I didn't watch it yet (it's on the DVR though), but I did see the Electric Eel show they had on just before, also with a nice BGK and a bunch of other knifefish that I've never seen before...

Yeah, this first aired a year or 2 ago...very nice documentary, shows a lot that we dont usually see...I still think they could have done more though..For the plethora of fish in the amazon they didnt show much....I think on Blue planet they did a good job and showed some p's and dorado too...I think they should make a "sequel"...

i watched this as well it was amazing, the group of angels were just awesome and the knife fishes too, i want one of those knife's that they only just got on film and swam vertically.
