Did I end up with all female A. Lyonsi (vid)

The largest and the one that is a little banged up look like males to me.The other may be a female.They are all beautiful!

I go back and forth what sex I think they are. I guess they are big enough to vent? I never try venting a fish...may have to give it a whirl.

It's hard to tell from the video but you sex them the same way you sex Trimacs, Festae, and Salvini. Look for the black spot in the dorsal. I had a pair and the spot in the dorsal is very noticeable.

I was looking for that spot...I dont really see a "spot" but it seems the front area of the dorsal where the spot would be is darker....and the heavy pink on the neck makes me think female too.

I'll dig through my pics to see I can find the lyonsi so you can see the difference. I bred them at a small size about 5 inches or so.
