Did I get a good deal??

I had a impulse buy today at lfs and brought a shubunkin for about 8 dollars. It seemed pretty good to me and it's about 9+ inches.I'm not familiar with these and mistakened it for a koi when i brought it so I want to make sure I'm still getting a good deal. Also, how do u take care of these things??Not sure how to post pic with I touch so I'll do it later

Take care of it the same way as you would have if it was a koi.
$ Sounds OK for such a large goldfish.

That's a pretty good price for such a large goldfish. You take care of them the same way you would any other goldfish. I'd love to see pics of it, I love shubunkins.

Shubunkins are nice. You got a pretty good deal for that size. I bought 3 @ 5.99 each a few years back and they were only about 5" at most. I had them for about a year and they grew to about 10" before I gave them to a roommate. They can and will get up to 16" if you give them the room to grow. Excellent fish to keep and beautiful in every way. Take care of them like any Koi or goldfish and keep up with water changes. Checking for ammonia is important too.

sorry for the really late post, have been very busy with finals at school. it's temporarly with my electric catfish in a 30g tank. im going to put it in my "pond" after winter. anyway, here r some pics
