I heard jardini's get crazy and slaughter everything at 8". The one I recently bought is about 8-10" and living with an ornate, senegalus, and two blood parrots. When I came downstairs I just saw both Bichirs swimming close right next to the jardini and he just ignored them and the BPs

All aros are special, but no you didn't get anything unique. There have been many cases of jars not going psycho. What made you ignore what you had heard and try the dangerous combo anyway?

I had one that was a perfect gentleman with tankmates, but another that was a butcher...depends on the fish.

I tried the combo because I had my small ornate in the tank before I put in the Jardini. This morning I put in a whole shrimp meant for the Jardini and he didn't eat it, when the Bichir grabbed it and dragged it across the tank to his cave the jardini just stared at him instead of attacking him or anything.

nothing unique, depends on the fish iv never had a crazy jardini only peaceful 1s

Mine was good with all my stock except for a EBJD. If anything squared off with him he'd give it a nice thrashing. But other then that very passive.

I think Jars are overrated lol. I had a 10" get pushed around by like 5" cichlids.

Looks as if you have a F'ked up way of rating fish though.

a 8-10 inch is still small

lets see if the same at 12-14 inch :D

An LFS that I frequent actually has a jar in the same tank as a few discus. The jar stays at the top and the discus at the bottom, no problems at all. I find it an odd combo.
