I know a lot of sellers say "Alligator Gars" and I bought one, but now I am wondering if I got ripped off. Sorry if the pictures aren't clear this is my first time taking pics of him.

Thank you and considering he was suppose to be a piranha I feel let down but thank you for the information now I can do more accurate research for tank mates

Whether piranha or gar, both are illegal in your state. I suggest reading the Restricted Species Lists - by state in the pinned section of the Marketplace forum for your state's list.

In my country i can keep all fish that i wand. I don't wanted to be rude or anything but some guys here can report you...

Reports don't have to be made. This site has members that work in F&W, the DNR, and in law enforcement. Inviting members to check out illegally kept species also invites law enforcers to view them.
