Does anyone have CL's with discus in the same tank? If so please share if you've ever seen this happen.

This has happened at least twice before in this tank of mine. As always, when I see poops on the tank bottom I usually siphon it out and change 1-2 buckets of water. When I got home from work today, saw some stuffs on the bottom, said to myself clean it after dinner. After dinner, got the bucket and tool ready for the job but the poops were gone. I mean gone!

Again, this is not the first time that it happens. Did my CL's clean it up? I've never seen them doing it but someone else beside the discus themselves had to do something to the poops. My intakes are not down to the bottom to suck it in and there's not much of current as I direct spray bars to the back wall. Did they really do it?:nilly:

I guess no one has ever experienced this...:)

I have a school of clowns with my Discus and I can't say if the CL are responsible, but I only siphon 1-2 times a week with my water changes and I very rarely see any poo build up...I have several others in the tank also, but idk. I don't think CL eat poo, but maybe all the fishes swimming and my two monster bubblers got it moved to the intake for my filter? IDK...

CL don't eat poo. They do however cause quite a ruckus on the bottom when they dart back and forth and dive into the gravel looking for morsels of food. I'd venture to say that they just kicked it up off the bottom and it got sucked into an intake, or under decorations.
