Ok, so I have a male rd x kml mix and a female srd and I think they bred possibly (I intended on them doing so).So I put the female in the males tank and at first both were shy them the male went up to right next to her and started to shake/wiggle around :screwy: and then left her, was that them breeding???The male ad female are only about 3".If anyone want pics I can send you a couple.

Flowerhorns are still to young for breeding. I would suggest observation and patience at this point. Be sure to be prepared for all the fish fry when they come.

The shaking could be courting behavior, but could also be sparring for dominance.
If they breed you will see a plaque of eggs on a near by surface, something like this

or this

or

Do you think eventually they will breed??The male does show some aggressiveness so I did the divider but the female is also always trying to get to the male but she does not show aggression towards him.

If the female is smaller than the male, you could cut a hole in the divider that only she can ft thru, this is the best way to keep her from being killed.
